Manual greasing of bearings, conveyors and cooling-tower fans always ends up at one of two extremes: a missed interval burns the bearing, while over-greasing pushes grease out, collects dust and overheats the bearing. Points high up or inside running machinery are almost impossible to grease on schedule.
