“GD WS Screw vs High Speed Turbo“
In the wastewater treatment plant (WWT). The actual task a blower is required to perform is often very variable, not specifying an exact fixed point as in the design, but tending to consider operating realities to arrive at a most efficient point, not over the entire range required as it operates based on day-to-day practice. Many variable speed Turbo blowers will have problems, depending on the number of revolutions and the time of low air flow requirement.

1. Gardner Denver screw blower (GD WS Screw) .
Founded in 1941 in Parma, Italy, Robuschi is world-famous for its lines of positive impact (PD) blowers, screw compressors, liquid ring vacuum pumps and centrifugal pumps.
GD Robuschi WS Screw Blower is designed as a Low Pressure Screw Compressor, according to new technology source. This is the first stage of an air compressor adapted for use in low pressure machines

2. Turbo blower.
High-speed turbo blowers rely on high rpm to achieve pressure, but flow is regulated by speed. Therefore, when flow decreases, pressure decreases. This is inevitable with this line of technology.
When controlling speed to meet flow and pressure demands, it is necessary to incorporate a relief valve. This process will cause surge to all devices and increase voltage due to high speed from 18,000 to 60,000 rpm and input filter.
